Cookie Policy
Updated June 10, 2026
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help websites function and understand how they are used. This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies TechRiseUps uses and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off. They include a signed session cookie used to keep an administrator logged in and a small preference value that remembers your light or dark theme. They store no marketing data.
Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate, pseudonymous usage — for example, which articles are popular and how visitors find us. These cookies help us improve our content. They do not tell us who you are, and we have configured analytics to respect IP anonymisation. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or your browser controls.
Advertising cookies
TechRiseUps does not currently serve third-party advertising and does not set advertising or cross-site retargeting cookies. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and request consent where required.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings at any time; note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working. Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" signal, which we honour where technically feasible.
Updates & contact
We may update this policy as our tools change; the "Updated" date above reflects the latest version. Questions: [email protected].
